When I returned to the facility to pick up my dogs, they do not open up until 8am. Hello? The majority of people work at 8am, so picking their dogs at 8am is terribly inconvenient. After a couple of days from picking up my dogs, they started hacking/coughing. It was really hard to witness this. Based on these experiences, I would not recommend this facility.
You get what you pay for and I know coming here I'm getting the best quality of care for my family.
The best place to take your pet. Would recommend East Towne too All my friends .The employee's are the best.
They take the best care of my puppy and let me know what he needs ASAP! friendly staff and best vet ever!
Second Visit: I was supposed to meet the vet at 8am. At 8:15 a technician comes in to tell me the vet is late. The technician shows me the treatment and price plan that quotes just under $650. I sign the plan and leave my cat with the tech. I then get a call several hours later to tell me that my cat needs 3 more teeth pulled. When I picked up my cat the bill was over $1000. According to the pricing sheet each additional tooth was $75. How does the price go from $650 to over $1000 with that math? I thought $650 was too much when I have paid $300-$400 for similar services in the recent past at other clinics, but $1000 seems obscene to me. It is one thing to make a profit and run a good business, it is another to be greedy. This clinic seems greedy to me. I will not be returning. 2 star rating. It is worth noting that my cat is doing very well.
Thank you East Towne for making a difference.
First visit: Friendly, professional, and caring service. Although the price may be a bit higher than other vets, I will continue to go here because they do a good job. 4 star rating.
Edit:
East Towne sets the bar for others to follow! Caring, compassionate and professional. I have been going here for close to 20 years and my entire furry family is well taken care of.
I contacted East Towne Vet Clinic to reserve boarding for my two dogs. I asked them questions about their facility and what they needed from me to be able to board my dogs. The person I spoke to was rude in her response. She did not offer much information when I would asked follow up questions. She did not seem at all interested in making sure my questions were being answered. She was more interested in getting me off the phone. Regretfully, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and decided to still try this facility. When I dropped off by dogs, I was then told that there was an outbreak of Tracheobronchitis/Kennel Cough. What am I suppose to do with this information now? No one thought to notify me of this outbreak, until I got there. What am suppose to do now?. My husband and I had to catch a flight that afternoon, and obviously did not have time to find alternative boarding. So I felt I had not choice but leave my dogs in their care. The person at the front desk then proceeded to tell me that there will be an additional $40 associated with my boarding if my dogs become incontinent. What? That is so wrong on so many levels. No where in my initial conversation with this person did she indicate this fee?
I can't say enough about Dr. Tunder. Our animals love him and I trust him comlpetely. Staff is friendly and they go out of their way to provide great service.
